In the Book of Jeremiah God promises the people of God that He would give them pastors who would feed them with knowledge and understanding. These pastors are described as leaders who lead God’s people God’s way. Superintendent Ramses Matthias Conyers who pastors the Revelation Church of God in Christ is the epitome of a leader who leads according to the heart of God.

Superintendent Conyers is a native New Yorker, and a 2nd generation member of the Church of God in Christ. He was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost at an early age at the Revelation Church of God in Christ under the leadership of his Father-in-God; Bishop John P. Lee, Sr. He received his primary and secondary education in the New York City Public School System.

While he was a student at the High School of Art and Design he decided to pursue a career in Architecture. After receiving numerous scholarships, he ventured into the field of Accounting. He matriculated at Berkeley College where he earned an Associate’s Degree, and B.S. at the Long Island University of New York-Brooklyn Campus.

Superintendent Conyers acknowledged his call to ministry, and in preparation enrolled at the New York School of the Bible. He was publicly ordained to ministry in August of 2002, and has dedicated his life to serving the people of God. Superintendent Conyers has served in many capacities in the church. He is an anointed musician, and choir director. He has served as Sunday School Teacher and YPWW (Young People Willing Worker) President. He is a National Adjutant in the Church of God in Christ which is the Servant-Ministry of the Reformation. He has served on several Finance Boards locally, jurisdictionally, and nationally. He has been recognized for his leadership abilities and organizational skills in both the church and secular world.

Superintendent Conyers presently serves the Eastern New York Fourth Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ as its Second Administrative Assistant to the Jurisdictional Prelate, and Jurisdictional Executive Secretary. He serves the Hill District as its District Superintendent where he oversees the operations of a Jurisdictional District which is comprised of local churches. He served as Pastor of The Spring Forth Church of God in Christ, and spiritual leader until October 2017.

Superintendent Ramses Conyers was currently appointed Pastor of Revelation COGIC by Bishop Frank Anthone White on Sunday, December 17, 2017.

Among his various ecclesiastical positions, Superintendent Conyers is not only a Churchman, but a family man.

He is married to Lady Shereese A. Conyers, and the doting father of four beautiful children, Jadyn, Aaron, Arionna, and Jayda.

He, and his lovely wife, Lady Shereese, are endeavoring to grow people, and not just grow a church. Together their desire is to change the face of their neighborhood in Brooklyn one person at a time. Our aspirations is that Spring Forth to be more than just a church in the neighborhood, but a church made up of the neighborhood. God has given Superintendent Conyers biblical and prophetic insight that has been embraced by the older and younger generations. Superintendent Ramses Conyers is a vibrant, energetic, studious young man who seeks God’s face, and keeps his ear close to God’s voice.
